The NESTA Co-Production Roadshow is coming to Birmingham on 29 March 2011


A half-day learning and networking event for service managers in local public services, representatives of voluntary organisations and local communities

Birmingham University, 29 March 2011, 10 AM - 1 PM

Governance International and Birmingham University are hosting the NESTA Co-Production Roadshow which will showcase inspiring examples of co-production in public services from the region.

This includes:

  • the Peer Support Scheme of Birmingham City Council in finding employment for workless displaced communities
  • the Environmental Champions Programme of Solihull Council
  • the new time bank Fair Shares
  • the project "Building Stronger Communites"developed by In Control.

Learn from keynote speakers Paul Sheehan, Chief Executive, Walsall MBC and Lead of West Midlands Local Authority Leadership Group and Jim McManus, Director of Public Health of Birmingham City Council how co-production can be made central to service improvement in local government and health.
